Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students as a Speech‑Language Pathologist in a dynamic, school‑based contract role. Based in the vibrant Elgin, IL area, you'll be working on‑site throughout the academic year from August 27, 2026, to June 9, 2027. This full‑time position spans 37.5 hours each week, with an itinerant schedule likely covering two school locations. Your support will be essential in addressing the speech and language needs of a diverse student population, with caseloads averaging about 45 students depending on assignment.

Your bilingual fluency in Spanish and English will be highly valued in serving the community, helping bridge communication and promote student success. This is a rewarding chance to collaborate with educators, students, and families while fostering effective communication and academic progress.

Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s in Speech‑Language Pathology
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (SLP endorsement)
  • Illinois SLP state license (active and in good standing)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
  • Previous school‑based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans
  • Collaborate within educational teams and attend IEP/504 meetings
  • Deliver direct therapy and consultative services per student needs
  • Maintain documentation, track progress, and communicate with parents/guardians
  • Travel between assigned campuses as needed
