Position OverviewSoliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Oswego, IL area. This full-time position is specifically focused on early childhood and transition programs within the school system for the entire school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping young children and supporting their developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to early childhood and transitioning students within the school system.
- Assess and evaluate students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' development and learning.
- Implement therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal setting and planning.
- Provide training and resources to school staff and parents on strategies to support students' occupational therapy needs.
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
- Experience working with early childhood and transition-aged students preferred.
- Strong understanding of developmental milestones and intervention strategies.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
