Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Scheduling

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies and providing diagnostic evaluations to assess sleep disorders. You will work closely with patients in our privately owned, accredited sleep center utilizing your expertise in sleep medicine and physiology to ensure accurate results and high-quality patient care.

We are looking for an experienced sleep tech to join our team—full time or part time.

2-4 nights per week.

Schedule can be flexible.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive polysomnographic studies, CPAP Titrations, and ASV Titrations on patients to evaluate sleep disorders.
  • Monitor and record physiological data during sleep studies, including vital signs and respiratory patterns.
  • Perform physical examinations and prepare patients for testing, ensuring they understand the procedures involved.
  • Analyze data collected during studies to assist in the diagnostic evaluation of sleep-related issues and score sleep studies.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards within the sleep center.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to sleep medicine.
  • Experience in performing physical examinations and monitoring vital signs.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques specific to polysomnography.
  • Familiarity with respiratory therapy practices and their application in sleep medicine.
  • Previous experience working in a sleep center or similar healthcare setting is required.
  • Must have current BLS and RPSGT certification
