An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals seeking a post as an Occupational Therapist working with in East Ross District.

This post will involve the successful applicant being responsible, as an autonomous practitioner, to provide Occupational Therapy to those adults that require it, within an integrated district team, including community services and input into the community hospital inpatient setting.

With support and supervision, the post holder will act as lead professional for a designated caseload coordinating aspects of health and social care delivery; providing a single point of contact for the person and their carer/s.

In conjunction with Band 6 colleagues; the post holder will provide day to day support to health care support workers regarding delegated duties.

Applicants should have a good level of core Occupational Therapy skills. They should be able to demonstrate a self motivated and dynamic approach, high professional commitment, a strong team-work ethic. A good team working ethic is essential to allow joint working and cross cover when necessary.
