Dermatology Front Desk Coordinator

Job Description

Fast paced dermatology practice with 3 locations (Tinley Park, New Lenox and Palos Heights) is seeking knowledgeable individuals with a strong work ethic who can learn quickly and multi-task.

As a front desk coordinator you are the first person patients see when they come in, this makes you the face of the practice. Having a positive attitude and demeanor including smiling to greet patients is a must.

• Greet patients upon arrival
• Register patients for their visit as they arrive including collecting payments, insurance cards and photo ids and reviewing demographic information and registration notes.
• Process discharge of patients by collecting any additional payments, scheduling future appointments and directing patients to the in house pharmacy as needed.
• Assist scheduling department with call overflow

• Pleasant demeanor (you are the face of the practice)
• Reliable work ethic
• Ability to work evening shifts (12pm to 8pm)
• Ability to work Saturday rotation (7am to 12pm)
