We are seeking a dedicated Job Coach to join our diverse teamin Elgin and be a part of our life-changing mission. Thehours of this position are
Monday
- Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM.

The starting base rate is$20/hr. With at least of acouple years of behavioral experience we could offer an experiencedrate of up to $21.00/hr
. We are hiring immediatelyand offer paid training!
CNAs and DSPs are encouraged toapply. We provide free DSP training!

Who We Are:

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential,educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens andadults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. With two residential locations – the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children andyoung adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on theautism spectrum.

In addition, our Community Day Services program ateach site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.

You will make a difference in the lives of our residents who haveintellectual and/or developmental disabilities in the following ways:

• Work directly with clients in the implementation of training programs and service plans
• Assist clients with personal care needs including grooming(brushing hair, brushing teeth, shaving), toileting, feeding meals,showering and dressing
• Monitor progress in goals including continuous data evaluationseach month
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for our clients
• Observe and properly Implement Behavior Management plans includingproactive and reactive strategies
• Assist in the implementation of vocational and recreational group activities and community outings
• Assist clients with volunteer as well as paid work onsite and inthe community
