ED Registration Clerk

Responsible for registering patients for ancillary departments, admitting inpatients, escorting patients, and serving as liaison to physicians, nurses, and other department personnel regarding registration and admission in a 24/7 high‑volume, fluid environment.

• Assists in the transport of patients using proper lifting techniques and appropriate equipment.
• Assists patients and visitors in and out of vehicles and with personal belongings.
• Escorts patients to their appointments when required.
• Controls and keeps vehicle keys secure.
• Documents customer name and location.
• Provides coverage for the Welcome Assistant in their absence.
• Demonstrates appropriate customer service behaviors and acts as a productive and professional member of the department.
• Greets patients and visitors and provides directions.
• Coordinates with other hospitality staff (volunteers, customer service representatives, security, etc.) to facilitate access to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center services.
• Parks vehicles for patients and visitors of the Health Center and the Medical Office Pavilion.
• Stays current on newly constructed areas, new physicians, and events within the Health Center.

• High School Diploma (HS Diploma)
• Valid Driver's License from the State of Illinois

Part‑time, 20 hours per week (minimum: two 3rd‑shift days, one 12‑hour shift and one 8‑hour shift). |

Pay starts at $17.79 per hour, based on experience, with an estimated range of $17.79 to $27.57 per hour.
