ED Registration Clerk
Responsible for registering patients for ancillary departments, admitting inpatients, escorting patients, and serving as liaison to physicians, nurses, and other department personnel regarding registration and admission in a 24/7 high‑volume, fluid environment.
Responsibilities- Assists in the transport of patients using proper lifting techniques and appropriate equipment.
- Assists patients and visitors in and out of vehicles and with personal belongings.
- Escorts patients to their appointments when required.
- Controls and keeps vehicle keys secure.
- Documents customer name and location.
- Provides coverage for the Welcome Assistant in their absence.
- Demonstrates appropriate customer service behaviors and acts as a productive and professional member of the department.
- Greets patients and visitors and provides directions.
- Coordinates with other hospitality staff (volunteers, customer service representatives, security, etc.) to facilitate access to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center services.
- Parks vehicles for patients and visitors of the Health Center and the Medical Office Pavilion.
- Stays current on newly constructed areas, new physicians, and events within the Health Center.
- High School Diploma (HS Diploma)
- Valid Driver's License from the State of Illinois

Pay starts at $17.79 per hour, based on experience, with an estimated range of $17.79 to $27.57 per hour.
