Clinic Director / Physical Therapist
Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a Clinic Director / Physical Therapist to lead our clinic while providing exceptional, one-on-one patient care. Your ImpactAs Clinic Director, you will be responsible for both the operational success of the clinic and delivery of high-quality patient care
. You’ll lead your team, drive performance, and build strong relationships with patients and referral partners.
Leadership & Clinic Operations
- Lead, mentor, and develop all clinic staff (PTs, OTs, PTAs, technicians, and front office team)
- Foster a positive, collaborative team culture where employees feel supported and empowered
- Oversee daily clinic operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and quality care
- Monitor clinic performance and achieve established clinical and operational goals
- Partner with leadership by providing regular performance updates
- Manage staffing schedules based on patient volume and clinic needs
- Ensure the clinic meets standards for compliance, safety, and overall appearance
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, referral sources, and community partners
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to drive clinic growth
- Support and participate in local marketing and community outreach efforts
- Cultivate strong relationships with patients to enhance their overall experience
In addition to leadership duties, you will maintain an active caseload:
- Perform initial evaluations in accordance with APTA standards
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Establish and track short- and long-term patient goals
- Deliver high-quality, one-on-one, evidence-based treatments
- Monitor progress and communicate updates with referring providers
- Create and document home exercise programs
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with reimbursement guidelines
- Stay current with best practices through continuing education
- Orthopedics
- Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine
- Licensed Physical Therapist with strong clinical skills
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Strong organizational and operational management skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
