In Home Caregiver

Job Description

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Rotating weekends (most Saturdays off)

We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and trustworthy caregiver to provide in-home assistance for an adult. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is reliable, enjoys helping others, and takes pride in providing quality care.

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Drive to medical appointments, errands, and community outings
• Light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying, etc.)
• Meal preparation and light cooking
• Grocery shopping and other errands as needed
• Assist with some lifting and mobility support
• Provide companionship while maintaining a safe, respectful, and positive environment

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Dependable with excellent attendance
• Comfortable with some lifting and mobility assistance
• Kind, patient, and compassionate
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to complete all required paperwork and pass any necessary background checks to be eligible for payment through the Illinois Medicaid Home Services Program

• This position does not include health insurance, paid time off, retirement benefits, or other employee benefits.
