Licensed Dietician

Licensed Dietitian – Full-Time Contract

Aura Staffing Partners is seeking a Licensed Dietitian for a full-time contract opportunity at a Mental Health Center in Elgin. This is an excellent opportunity to provide clinical nutrition services in a behavioral health setting while working with a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Position Details:

• Full-time (40 hours/week; minimum 32 hours/week)
• Monday–Friday
• Preferred schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Flexible schedule options: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Anticipated start date:
  August 1, 2026 (facility start dates are typically the 1st or 16th of each month)
• Assignment expected to last approximately 4–6 months

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluations
• Develop and monitor therapeutic nutrition plans
• Provide patient nutrition education and counseling
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary treatment team
• Primarily perform clinical nutrition duties, with occasional menu revisions and support
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility standards

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Dietitian License through IDFPR
• Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Clinical nutrition experience preferred
• Behavioral health, psychiatric hospital, or institutional nutrition experience is a plus
