A pharmacy is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Edwardsville, IL. This role offers 24-30 hours per week with a schedule that supports a balanced work-life dynamic and provides on-call compensation.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday:
  Emergency orders only (On-call 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM; $8/hour paid for on-call availability)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions
• Provide counseling to patients regarding medications
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and protocols
• Manage typical retail pharmacy duties efficiently and professionally
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication therapy

Qualifications:

• Illinois Pharmacy License (required)
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience with Pioneer Rx software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
