Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician – Healthcare

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to provide evidence-based assessment, therapy, and crisis intervention within our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will complete diagnostic evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and deliver individual, group, and family interventions. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, and allied health staff to coordinate integrated, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, effective documentation skills, and a commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and formulate diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to diverse patient populations
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to coordinate integrated care
• Monitor patient progress, document in EHR, and adjust interventions as needed
• Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when indicated
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and coping skills
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, and patient safety standards
• Participate in case conferences, quality improvement, and team huddles
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to program innovation

• Active state license as LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Psychologist, or equivalent behavioral health credential
• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited program
• Eligibility for payer credentialing (commercial and government payers)
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain per organizational policy
• Experience with EHR systems and familiarity with HIPAA and Joint Commission standards
