Retail Pharmacist – Wellness Center

We are looking for a professional Retail Pharmacist to manage and operate the pharmacy within our wellness center. This role necessitates a compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail, providing pharmaceutical care to our community.

• Dispensing prescription medications to patients and offering expertise in the safe use of prescriptions.
• Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.
• Providing information and advice to patients about drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
• Assessing the strength and purity of medications and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Managing health and wellness screenings and providing immunizations.
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize care.
• Maintaining records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, and registries of controlled drugs.
• Educating patients on health promotion, disease prevention and managing chronic conditions.
• Strong understanding of dosage forms, drug interactions, pharmacy law and medical ethics.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex issues to patients and staff.
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and effective problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
