Job Summary
Keep all areas of the property clean and clear of debris, creating the first and lasting impression for guests when entering and leaving our property.
Responsibilities- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including washrooms, slot machine areas, garbage cans, and floors (vacuum, sweep, mop, shampoo, wax, spot removal).
- Use and work from ladders.
- Set up banquet rooms and other functions as directed.
- Move and carry supplies around the property as requested.
- Use and operate tools and equipment as trained.
- Monitor and correct any conditions not meeting department standards.
- Maintain standards established by the department Director.
- Perform all tasks that may be assigned in the future.
- Ensure mobility throughout the shift and ability to lift, carry, and manipulate supplies up to 40–50 lbs.
- Handle cleaning equipment, chemicals, cleansers, and solvents.
- Communicate directly, telephonically, and electronically with guests, management, and staff.
- Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Must obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
- Physically mobile, able to stand or walk for 8–12 hour shifts.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in areas with dust, varying noise, temperature, lighting, vibrations, crowds, and air quality.
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work well with others and handle stressful situations.
- Work flexible shifts.
Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
