Talent Manager, HR Manager, Employee Relations
Pay: $100,000–$120,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus

Addison Group is partnering with one of our clients, a growing organization, to hire an HR Talent Manager. This role supports a multi-state, service-driven workforce and plays a critical role in strengthening leadership capability, talent development, and employee engagement—particularly during periods of growth and acquisition.
Job Description:
The HR Talent Manager will serve as a strategic partner to business leaders while overseeing key talent management and HR initiatives. This individual will focus heavily on leadership development, onboarding, retention, performance management, and workforce planning. The role supports a distributed employee population and works closely with senior leaders to ensure people strategies align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead leadership development initiatives to strengthen manager capability and build internal bench strength
- Partner with senior leaders to identify high-potential talent and create targeted development plans
- Drive succession planning efforts for critical roles across the organization
- Facilitate talent review and calibration discussions to assess readiness and development needs
- Support recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies across a multi-state workforce
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, coaching, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain a visible HR presence and support employees with real-time guidance and solutions
- Leverage HR data and insights to support workforce planning and decision-making
- Maintain and optimize HRIS data accuracy, reporting, and process efficiency
- Support compensation programs, including merit increases, bonuses, and pay adjustments
- Review internal and external market data to ensure equitable compensation practices
- Provide payroll oversight by reviewing off-cycle items such as bonuses, severance, and final pay (no payroll processing)
- Partner with Finance to support month-end close, general ledger accuracy, and commission calculations
- Support mergers and acquisitions by assisting with employee integration and change management
- Participate in HR and cross-functional projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on talent management and leadership development
- Experience supporting multi-state and remote or field-based work forces
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to review financial data and identify trends or anomalies
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and influence at multiple levels of the organization
- Background in service-based or DOT-aligned environments preferred
Preferred:
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions
- Familiarity with Paycor or similar HRIS platforms
- Experience with driver eligibility or fleet compliance systems
- SHRM or other HR or financial certifications
