Payroll Coordinator

Overview

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for processing JBSS, Inc.’s multi-state, bi-weekly payroll for employees across all U.S. locations. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll tax laws, government regulations, and accurate payroll reporting.

This position is on-site 4 days a week in Elgin, IL.

• Process and transmit bi-weekly payrolls; perform pre- and post-audit of payroll transmissions.
• Process pay-related changes in UKG, including new hires and terminations; review, set up, and respond to garnishments and other payroll-related inquiries.
• Serve as the first line of support for end-users on the UKG timekeeping system; respond to inquiries received through the payroll inbox.
• Create and run payroll reports as needed for internal business partners and external providers.
• Ensure data integrity and efficient processing of HR data.

• Minimum of 1–2 years of multi-state payroll experience required
  .
• Knowledge of full-cycle payroll processes required
  .
• Previous experience processing manufacturing hourly payroll
• Experience with UKG Dimensions HCM and UKG Pro WFM
• Knowledge of applicable payroll laws, regulations, and payroll principles.

• FPC or CPP certification preferred
  .
• Membership with the American Payroll Association preferred
  .

• Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
