Job Description
We are seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to join our team!
You will perform numerous activities in human resources from HRIS maintenance to Employee Relations matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS system, including personnel files, organizational charts, and other relevant information.
- Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs, including new hire orientation, compliance training, safety training, supervisor training, and professional development opportunities.
- Identify training needs and collaborate with management to design and implement relevant training initiatives.
- Bilingually implement performance appraisal systems and processes.
- Identify training and development needs based on performance evaluations.
- Facilitate employee recognition initiatives for high levels of performance, perfect attendance, birthdays, and anniversaries.
- Create, audit, and update job descriptions, titles, and departments company wide.
- Bilingually resolve conflicts and facilitate communication between employees and management.
- Bilingually conduct investigations and disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Manage payroll processing in collaboration with the accounting department.
- Unemployment Administration
- FMLA/CFRA/LOA Administration
- Workers Compensation Administration
- ACA maintenance, EEO-1 Reporting, CA Pay Data Reporting, 401k Non-Discrimination Testing, Form 5500 filing
- Verifications of Employment
- Onboarding and Off-boarding Administration in both English and Spanish languages.
- Serve as the primary bilingual point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, coaching, and counseling.
- Investigate and address employee complaints and concerns in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality and fairness throughout the process.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues and company policies.
- Company event planning.
- Conducting surveys both in English and Spanish languages.
- Create job postings, screen resumes, and interview
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other external partners.
- Stay informed of relevant federal, multi-state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR-related activities.
- Update policies and procedures in both English and Spanish languages in multi-state handbooks as necessary to maintain compliance and mitigate risk for the organization.
- Educate employees (English and Spanish languages) and managers on HR policies and procedures.
