FPGA Engineer - Leading Trading Firm

Our client, a Leading Quantitative Trading Firm, is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to join its high-performance technology team.

• Contribute to the design, implementation, and verification of FPGA‑based systems used in latency‑sensitive trading environments.
• Develop reusable IP blocks and scalable architectures for deployment across different hardware platforms.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to integrate FPGA solutions into broader trading and networking infrastructure.
• Optimize designs for speed, reliability, and efficiency while maintaining code quality and reusability.
• Explore new hardware and software technologies that could enhance the firm’s trading capabilities.

• Professional experience in FPGA/ASIC development and digital logic design.
• Strong proficiency with hardware description languages (System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL).
• Solid understanding of digital design principles and verification methodologies.
• Experience with FPGA tool chains and flows for design, synthesis, simulation, and debugging.
• Knowledge of C++ and familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash

• Background in networking protocols, packet processing, or high‑speed transceivers is advantageous.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
