The SAP Quality & Automation Lead is the driving force behind testing excellence across our SAP landscape. In this role, you will own the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of our SAP quality assurance and test automation programs, with Tricentis Tosca as your primary platform. You will build and lead a culture of quality across SAP project teams, ensuring that every enhancement, release, and system change is validated with rigor and confidence.

HANA, you will be the person who makes sure we get it right before it goes live.
Own the end‑to‑end SAP test strategy, including regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing across all SAP modules and connected systems.
- Design, build, maintain, and expand a robust automated test suite using Tricentis Tosca, ensuring broad coverage across SAP functional areas including SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, and GTS.
- Collaborate with functional and technical SAP teams during requirements gathering and design to embed quality considerations early in the development lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across project work streams, including planning, scheduling, defect management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Partner with ABAP developers, solution architects, and business analysts to triage defects, validate fixes, and ensure root cause analysis drives lasting improvements.
- Establish and enforce test standards, best practices, and documentation templates including Test Plans, Test Cases, Defect Reports, and Test Summary Reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in automation coverage, test execution speed, and overall QA maturity across the SAP program.
- Mentor and guide team members and business testers on testing tools, methodologies, and quality best practices.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in SAP quality assurance and testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior individual contributor role.
- Hands‑on, demonstrable experience with Tricentis Tosca for SAP test automation, including test case design, module scanning, and test suite management.
- Tricentis Tosca certification or experience with Tricentis Test Management for Jira (TM4J) and Tricentis qTest (a plus). Neoload is a must.
- Functional knowledge across multiple SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, FI/CO, GTS, WM/EWM) sufficient to design meaningful test scenarios and evaluate test coverage quality.
- Experience designing and executing integration test strategies for complex SAP environments involving third‑party integrations via IDOCs, OData, CXML, CPI, or RFC calls.
- Experience leading UAT efforts, including coordinating business stakeholders, managing test cycles, and driving sign‑off decisions.
- Experience testing in distribution or manufacturing SAP environments, including order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, and supply‑chain scenarios.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4
HANA testing considerations and experience supporting migration, upgrading testing cycles and enhancement deployment.li - Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or Service Now.
- Ability to write, read, and interpret basic ABAP or scripting to support automation troubleshooting and test data management – full development experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting test results, risk assessments, and quality metrics to both technical teams and business leadership.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent test work streams without dropping the ball.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
