Technical Writer – Role Summary
Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals, sales and training literature. Apply leading‑edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.
Key Responsibilities- Create accurate and authoritative technical documentation, including solution requirements, architecture, test, integration, operations plans, and guides.
- Lead or participate in meetings with subject‑matter experts and leadership to discuss documentation topics and issues.
- Develop templates, styles, and professional presentations and deliverables for technical reports and worksheets.
- Mentor or supervise employees on company and technical competencies.
- Experience developing, managing, and reviewing executive‑level documentation such as reports, whitepapers, proposals, briefings, and technical documentation.
- Experience engaging stakeholders at various levels to define business objectives and prioritize goals.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Ability to lead meetings with SMEs and leadership to discuss topics and issues with technical documentation.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Secret clearance.
- Experience supporting a cyber delivery team.
- Experience with internal or external client management.
- Experience analyzing project‑specific business metrics, including procurement data, staffing data, or financial data.
- Knowledge of 508 compliance standards.
- Ability to visualize and describe processes and methodologies.
- Ability to meet DoW 8140 requirements.

CompensationFull‑time and part‑time employees (≥20 hours per week) are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $ (annualized USD). The posting will close within 90 days of the posting date.
