Our client is an enterprise company with 15k+ employees across the globe and is HQ’d here in the US.

This role is 100% remote but must sit in a few selected states in the US. All candidates must be US CITIZEN and ALL US CITIZENS must live/ have residence in the following states :

Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to design and drive security architecture across large-scale AWS environments. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role where you will influence cloud security posture, lead enterprise-wide initiatives, and ensure that modern cloud architectures are both scalable and secure.

Core Technical Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in IT Security and/or Cloud Security Architecture, with a focus on enterprise-scale environments.
• Deep, hands-on experience architecting and securing large AWS Cloud environments — including identity & access management, encryption, monitoring, logging, and governance.
• Extensive experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — strong hands-on skills with Terraform and Cloud Formation.
• Proven experience designing and securing multi-account, multi-region AWS deployments.
• Ability to perform cloud threat modeling, architecture risk analysis, and define control patterns.
• Solid understanding of Dev Sec Ops  practices, modern cloud CI/CD, and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS Benchmarks, etc.) and practical experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.

Bonus

Skills:

• Experience with Kubernetes and container security.
• Exposure to leading security tooling (Crowdstrike, Rapid7, Dark Trace, etc.).
• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, etc.) for automation and tooling.
• Prior consulting or enterprise architecture experience is highly desirable.
