Role Overview
The Database Administrator (DBA) within the CCOE Database Services Team is responsible for the design, availability, performance, security, compliance, automation, and ongoing support of IFS cloud database platforms. The role serves as the technical authority for database services, providing escalation support, driving operational excellence, ensuring FedRAMP compliance, and building automated, scalable database solutions that support IFS Cloud customers.
What You Will DoDesign and support enterprise backup and recovery solutions; ensure DR solutions satisfy both business and FedRAMP requirements; regularly validate recovery procedures and disaster recovery testing; implement monitoring frameworks and alerting solutions; support monitoring platforms including Nagios, Prometheus, ELK, OEM, and Azure-native tools; and drive automation initiatives across database administration activities.
Why It Might Be a FitThe ideal candidate will have 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience in enterprise or cloud environments, 2+ years of supporting an additional database platform, 3+ years of automating tasks through shell scripting, experience operating in regulated environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, etc.), and experience with Service Now, Jira, or similar ITSM platforms.
