Route Driver (Base Pay + Commission)

Location: IR Chicago N Drivers (Elgin) -

Workdays/shifts: Weekdays – morning shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $15 per hour – $30 per hour

As a Route Driver (Base Pay + Commission) at Sodexo, you will use people skills and a commitment to quality assurance and safety to successfully deliver product in the vending, self-checkout, or office coffee service channels. You will use your customer service skills to ensure that customer areas are accurately stocked and work with customers to understand and support their needs.

• Drive a vehicle that, based on weight, meets the Motor Carrier Act exemption from overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act on assigned route(s)
• Deliver product orders to customers to ensure continuous supply
• Ensure customer areas are adequately stocked (vending machine, market, or coffee supplies)
• Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and foster a healthy and safe working environment
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must be at least 21 years of age
