purpose
Provides support for showroom and shop activities related to service while working toward becoming a master at machine operation, machine repair, machine troubleshooting, and machine crating. Some travel and field support is anticipated in the scope of this role.
Duties and responsibilities- Machine Refurbishing and Repair
- Machine Troubleshooting
- Machine Operation
- Machine Crating & Uncrating
- Customer Demo support (in-person & virtual Showroom)
- Maintain Video / Audio Equipment
- Service Warehouse Support (roller recovery/parts returns)
- Parts Inspection / Repair on Returns
- Part Programming (HMI, PLC’s, Drives and Boards)
- Understand film applications and learn how to produce the best results
- Technical Support for parts look-up and troubleshooting (Shop/Customer)
- Workshop, Warehouse & Showroom housekeeping
- Attend department meetings
- Support continuous improvement
- Occasional service visits as directed
- Other duties as required
- Support and uphold the Nobelus Product Safety Program by following procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to ensure product integrity and customer safety.
- High School Diploma or GED. Associate degree preferred.
- 3+ years of related experience a plus, but not required.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish, Mandarin, and English desired, but not required.
- Prior experience in ERP Systems desired but not required
- Previous customer service experience a plus but not required
- Desire to work towards a technical career path (apprenticeship to Field Service Engineer)
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Basic Mechanical/electrical /pneumatic background a plus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills
- Process improvement abilities
- Works well with a team or individually.
