Overview

We are seeking a Site Maintenance Director to lead operations at an upcoming high-speed, fully automated center in Illinois. This role requires at least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Director in automated manufacturing. The company will provide comprehensive training at its operating centers in Canada before site launch, with support from a team of experts and a competitive benefits package.

What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager in Maintenance
  • Strong background in automated manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Canada and the U.S. during the first year
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the production, maintenance, HR, and IT support teams, ensuring effective product management and inventory control, with a strong focus on health and safety.
  • Define, communicate, and align team objectives across both on-site and support teams.
  • Provide strategic direction by identifying operational challenges and implementing data-driven solutions to increase productivity and sustainability.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and foster a safety-first culture aimed at achieving zero incidents.
  • Conduct and lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to proactively enhance workplace safety.
  • Be a team builder, coach, and mentor, promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all departments and organizational levels.
