Vice President of Sales, Aggregate, Environmental and Recycling Capital Equipment

Location:

Company HQ - Midwest, national 13-state coverage*

Earnings: $180,000 to $220,000 base, uncapped commission

Start: ASAP. Hiring close, end of June 2026

You have run a sales territory or led a sales team for an OEM or a distributor in heavy capital equipment. You are ready to step up. This seat puts a national 13-state book in front of you, a sales team already on the ground in every state and a warm contact list you walk into from day one.

The Role

You will lead national sales across 13 states for aggregate, environmental and cement batch plant capital equipment. You will inherit one to two sales reps in each state and lead from the front, not from a desk. You will hunt new business, grow the dealership network and pull existing accounts deeper. You will report to the owner and the GM.

What We Need
  • Three years plus as Vice President of Sales for an OEM or distributor in construction and mining heavy capital equipment, or a senior sales manager ready to step up with proof of leading a multi-state team
  • Track record of growing a dealership or distributor network from scratch
  • Strong commercial grip on Environmental and Aggregate CE equipment
  • Willingness to travel 60-70% across the Midwest and beyond
  • Ideally based in the Midwest, but open to any state if you are comfortable with the travel
  • New business hunter mindset. Account management alone will not move the needle here
  • Comfortable reporting to an owner with a dotted line into general management

Our client is a Midwest-headquartered distributor of aggregate, environmental and recycling capital equipment with a decade in the market. They run five yards, 28 technicians, 300 rental units and a 30,000-line parts inventory across 13 states. The business holds dealer rights for a deep stack of respected lines and operates sister businesses covering Texas and the Southeast.
