Education & Membership Manager

Veritas Association Management seeks a highly motivated, organized, and strategic professional to serve as the Education & Membership Manager within its growing Education Program & Accreditation Department. This position supports the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists by leading the planning, implementation, and evaluation of continuing medical education (CME), online education, membership growth, member engagement, and volunteer leadership initiatives.

The Education & Membership Manager partners closely with physician volunteers, committee leaders, and internal teams to deliver exceptional educational programming, oversee membership operations and growth strategies, manage online learning and board review resources, and strengthen the overall member experience. The successful candidate is an organized project manager who thrives in a collaborative environment, effectively balances multiple priorities, leverages data to inform decision‑making, and is committed to delivering high‑quality service to clients and members.

• Manage the development and execution of live, virtual, and online educational programs, including webinars, workshops, board review courses, and enduring educational activities.
• Manage educational programs, including:
  • Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium and Workshops
  • SCA Echo
  • SCA Echo Board Review
• Partner with volunteer leaders to develop innovative educational programming that aligns with organizational strategic priorities and adult learning principles.
• Lead the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of online education programs, including on‑demand courses, webinars, LMS‑based learning, and digital educational products.
• Manage abstract submissions, peer review, and Problem‑Based Learning Discussion (PBLD) processes.
• Organize and facilitate committee meetings and planning calls, preparing agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and follow‑up action items.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding meeting logistics, registration, audiovisual support, conference applications, and event operations.
• Serve as the onsite manager for educational meetings, providing faculty, speaker, and volunteer support.
• Coordinate educational evaluations, outcomes measurement, and post‑activity reporting.
• Manage conference mobile applications and educational technology platforms, as needed.
• Monitor question bank analytics and learner performance data to support continuous improvement.
• Support the administration of accredited continuing medical education (CME) activities in compliance with ACCME requirements.
• Serve as the primary staff liaison to the ARC Council, partnering with the Council Chair and volunteer leaders to coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, develop supporting materials, document meeting minutes, monitor action items, and facilitate the successful execution of Council initiatives and strategic priorities.

• In partnership with the Director, Education develops and executes an annual membership growth strategy with defined acquisition, retention, and expansion goals.
• Identify and cultivate new member segments and establish strategic relationships with residency programs, fellowship programs, and professional organizations.
• Develop early‑career membership pathways and engagement initiatives that build long‑term member loyalty.
• Monitor membership trends, benchmark competitor associations, and recommend enhancements to membership value, benefits, pricing, and positioning.
• In conjunction with the Director, Education, develop discipline‑specific recruitment campaigns and member engagement strategies.
• Track membership growth, engagement, retention, and key performance indicators through dashboards and regular reporting.
• Develop member engagement scoring models to identify at‑risk members and support proactive retention initiatives.
• Collaborate with Director, Education to establish membership revenue goals and forecast annual dues revenue.
