The Community Revitalization Program Manager manages programs in the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity's Office of Community Development and supervises staff. The role formulates and implements policies for Community Development Block Grant programs, monitors and evaluates project activities, and ensures compliance with state and federal requirements. The ideal candidate excels in organization, communication, and project management with strong supervisory skills.
- Four years of college in business/public administration, economic development, urban planning, or related field
- Three years of progressively responsible administrative/management experience in a public or business organization
- Three years administering federal and/or state grant programs from conception to closeout
- Three years completing federal or state environmental reviews or HUD environmental training
- Three years experience in Community Development Block Grant administration
- Three years effectively supervising and guiding team members with strong problem-solving skills
