Job Description Opportunity at a GlanceThis position is responsible for managing teams in clinical operations for business processes, analytics, clinical coordination and partner relationships for both pre- and post-licensure programs at campuses and online across the university for nursing and the College of Health Professions. This position is the primary liaison and leader of teams in support of Executive Campus Directors, Deans of Academic Affairs (Online and Campus), Program Deans and Directors of Clinical Coordination, data/reporting, vendors and support of experiential learning processes.
This position is also responsible for the full implementation of clinical operations on new campuses. This role will play a critical leadership role in advancing clinical partnership strategy and establishing relationships with C-Suite and Director level roles within partner organizations, as well as optimizing clinical placement processes and enhancing the student experience.
- Manage implementation of clinical operations at all new campuses and new BSN online hub markets. This includes developing and managing a training plan for staff, assessing skill mastery, providing oversight during start up, and managing a float pool to assist a new campus in areas of clinical coordination and partner relationships.
- Conduct regular touchpoints with key stakeholders for data, business ops and clinical coordination.
- Identify and lead process improvement efforts and process changes in the delivery of clinical coordination and partnership management efforts.
- Maintain expertise in regulatory and compliance standards within their regions, identify trends that impact the delivery of clinical operations, and make recommendations for change across region/all locations (online and campus).
- Ensure that all college communications related to student services is accurate and timely. Ensure that all college communications related to clinical operations is accurate and timely, including preparing analytics and data dashboards, clinical inventory and usage reporting, and ensuring clinical learning evaluations are documented appropriately.
- Oversee and guide processes and resources as it relates the BSN online programs for clinical coordination and market/partner development.
- Responsible for oversight and maintenance of all policies specific to clinical operations in congruence with university catalogs and governance guidelines of the university. Collaborate with other Sr MCR’s and communicate and train within their region on any policy changes relative to clinical operations.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop Clinical Coordination Specialists and/or new Sr Managers of Clinical Relations.
- Lead and manage ongoing efforts to identify and manage key clinical partner accounts based on utilization, geographic priority, and growth potential.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with pre-identified strategic healthcare partners.
- Analyze data trends (e.g., utilization, capacity, gaps) to inform decision-making and operational strategy.
- Partner with academic leadership to proactively address risks impacting student progression.
- Participate in leadership forums, strategic planning sessions, and organizational initiatives.
