** Job Details:
** The starting pay for this position is $20.80/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shifts.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

* Job Summary:

** This position is responsible for ensuring materials are moved/transported  throughout the facility as necessary.
** Responsibilities:
*** Move product as directed using pallet jacks, forklifts or other means.
* Reading/reviews work orders and follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved, counted, weighed, put away and recorded.
* Safely opens containers, using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer or other hand tools.
* Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit, using hand tools.
* Cleans work area, machines and equipment, using broom, rags and other products.
* Updates database records as required; participate in all department and company training sessions and meetings.
* Maintains a working knowledge of all warehouse operations.
* Collaborates with cross-functional partners within facility.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

* Working Conditions:

*** The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
* While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
* Must be willing to work in cold temperatures ranging from 20 to 36 degrees.
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* Assist in stocking and on assembly line on a regular basis, lifting to 90lbs with assistance

* Ability to safely operate foot and hand controls with good hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to sit for extended periods while operating equipment and frequently twist/turns to check surroundings.
* Ability to repeatedly climb in and out of forklift equipment.
* Ability to maintain the level of awareness necessary to safely operate a forklift around people, equipment, and moving vehicles, with or without reasonable accommodation
