-22°F (-6°C). Loud noises (equipment/machinery) and some degree of PPE (personal protective equipment) required, including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.
1st Shift: Tuesday to Friday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $15.26 to $18.50

Aboutthe Role
Within the Clinical Trials Division (CTD), this role supports global pharmaceutical and biotech partners in delivering therapies to patients safely and efficiently. Guided by the principle "There is a Patient Waiting," the Packaging/Labeling Technician I plays a critical role in ensuring clinical supplies are accurately packaged, labeled, and handled in compliance with regulatory standards.

A Day in the Life- Labels, assembles, and packages pharmaceutical products.
- Performs manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products.
- Accurately counts and prepares packaging components to ensure accurate accountabilities prior to and at the completion of a job order.
- Ensures quality and productivity requirements are met.
- Cleans packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMPs).
- Applies Good Manufacturing Principles (GMP) in all areas of responsibility, including following regulations and activities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Execute packaging and labeling activities in accordance with approved procedures and job specifications.
- Maintain accurate counts and reconciliation of all packaging components.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety regulations.
- Support operational efficiency while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to learn new tasks with guidance and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and understand batch documentation to ensure proper assembly of clinical supplies.
- Capability to meet physical job requirements, including standing, lifting, and bending.
- Must meet vision requirements (e.g., color vision, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment).
- Willingness to work in cold environments (-8°C and
-20°C). - Availability to work 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
- Required to obtain and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) certification, including use of respirators and safety gear.
- Fully onsite position based in Mount Prospect, Illinois.
- First shift schedule (Monday‑Thursday).
