Position OverviewWe are hiring Maintenance Technicians to support equipment reliability and facility operations across the Lacon facility. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing machinery to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
Applicants may bring a variety of technical backgrounds, including electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance experience. This position supports a wide range of systems and equipment and may involve working across multiple areas of the operation based on experience and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Diagnose equipment issues and repair or replace defective components
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components of industrial equipment
- Dismantle machines and equipment to perform repairs and install new or rebuilt parts
- Maintain and service facility equipment, including forklifts, trailers, and plant systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of completed work
- Perform general facility and grounds maintenance as needed
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related technical field required
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or equipment-related issues strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, or blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or climb for extended periods (8+ hours per shift)
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights
- Work is performed both outdoors and indoors in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility
Multiple shifts are available. Applicants will have the opportunity to indicate their preferred shift during the application process. 2nd and 3rd shift positions may include additional pay through a shift differential. Final shift assignment will be based on business needs and applicant experience.
Overtime opportunities may be available based on workload and production needs.
