Essential Job Functions
Administration and Management of Quality
- Conduct design review using checklist and MDS; create DR reports and consult supervisor
- Perform part inspections, create documentation, and report findings to vendors
- Create mold inspection reports and communicate with vendors
- Attend tooling trials, observe and document mold trials
- Track issues until resolution and obtain manager approval
- Establish and maintain quality evaluation systems and procedures (including ISO systems)
- Continuously improve processes for efficiency and cost reduction
- Provide accurate reports with minimal errors
- Perform clerical and administrative support tasks
- Handle special projects and additional duties as assigned
- Maintain ethical standards and report issues to management
- Ensure strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Follow company policies and maintain a safe, clean work environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (two-year college or technical school acceptable)
- 5-10 years of experience in quality-related fields at factory/manufacturing site (preferably molds, metals, or plastics)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Proficiency in using Office 365 without issues
- Work may occur in plant environment with noise
- Vision requirements: close, peripheral, depth perception
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands
- Ability to operate machinery and tools
