PACKER

Perform repetitive assembly operations on a variety of fabricated pieces into sub or final assemblies by trimming, bending, and ensuring proper fit. Snap some pieces into place and fasten others with hardware.

Use hand tools such as screwdriver, hammer, pliers, wrenches, and riveting machines to execute tasks from supervisor demonstration or approved sample.

Use hand truck to move skids of pieces and finished product on containers to and from work area.

Read and follow route sheet, verify quantities, record start and finish times, indicate operations performed on tickets, and log time changes.

Follow prescribed safety practices and work environment requirements.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English.
• Experience working from orders, route cards, bills of lading, and packing slips.
• Accuracy in recording quantities, time, checking, identifying, and recording.

• Ability to work on feet for long periods; regularly stand, walk, sit, crouch, bend, pull and push up to 50 lbs.
• Strong physical stamina, manual dexterity, and time‑management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; team player and problem solver.

• Stand, walk, crouch, bend, push, pull, and use hands to handle objects and tools; may lift 50+ lbs.
• Require normal mental and visual attention.

• Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, grease, water, paint, oil, fumes, and seasonal heat and cold.

Safety glasses and safety shoes required throughout the facility. Gloves, arm guards, and hearing protection are required as job duties mandate.

$17.00 per hour
