What You’ll DoAs an Assembler, you will perform hands‑on manufacturing activities that support the production of high‑quality medical devices. Working within a regulated manufacturing environment, you'll follow established procedures, maintain accurate documentation, identify quality concerns, and help ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to approved procedures and work instructions.
- Follow quality requirements and perform in-process inspections to verify work accuracy.
- Operate manufacturing equipment such as adhesive dispensers, UV curing equipment, hot boxes, and tipping machines.
- Utilize hand tools and measurement devices including calipers, rulers, tweezers, cutters, and precision assembly tools.
- Prepare workstations and perform line clearance activities to ensure production readiness.
- Complete Lot History Records (LHRs) and other manufacturing documentation accurately and completely.
- Identify defects, nonconformances, or equipment concerns and communicate them to production leadership.
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning activities within manufacturing areas.
- Maintain material traceability and organization throughout the manufacturing process.
- Follow all quality system requirements, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
- No prior manufacturing experience required.
- Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Experience working in assembly, production, cleanroom, or manufacturing environments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to accurately record production information and inspection results.
- Comfortable using computers for basic production documentation.
- Ability to use measurement tools such as rulers and calipers.
- Ability to use hand tools such as tweezers, pliers, cutters, screwdrivers, and similar assembly tools.
- Ability to use manufacturing equipment such as glue dispensers, heat guns, ovens, and soldering equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrates good judgment and a positive, professional attitude.
