Job Summary for Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Sr. ME)
- Lead and optimize CNC machining processes in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Develop, modify, and validate CNC programs (lathes and milling machines).
- Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to improve quality and throughput.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams.
- Select and implement tooling, inserts, and work holding solutions.
- Ensure process capability, first-piece validation, and maintain process documentation.
- Provide hands‑on support and technical leadership on the shop floor.
