American NTN Bearing Manufacturing (ANBM) is a Tier 1 supplier of wheel‑bearing hubs for the automotive industry.
SUMMARYAssist in the safe production of quality products by ensuring parts are moved through the production process efficiently and checked for quality. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, supplying parts to production lines, moving parts to the warehouse, and inventory maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Safely lift, move, unload, and stack material and supplies with powered industrial equipment such as walkie‑walkie, ball cart, reach truck, stacker, stand‑up, or sit‑down forklift.
- Visually inspect all incoming material, outgoing finished product, and packaging for damage and report suspected damage in writing.
- Weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
- Secure loads with seat belts or straps before moving with powered industrial trucks.
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material and equipment needs.
- Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
- Position forklifts, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport the load to designated areas.
- Install protective devices such as bracing, padding, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Inventory work‑floor materials and supply workers with materials as needed.
- Deliver components and other supplies to the appropriate place in a safe and timely manner based on the production schedule.
- Verify that material in the warehouse is OK or approved before pulling it from skids.
- Record inventory transactions using the bar‑code inventory system.
- Perform routine inspection and refueling of powered industrial trucks, including charging batteries or replacing liquefied‑gas tanks.
- Apply 5S principles to assigned areas to keep them organized, clean, and safe.
- Follow all company rules and regulations related to environmental, health, and safety.
- General knowledge of material handling, inventory, and quality control practices such as FIFO and lot traceability.
- Skilled at driving powered industrial trucks by moving levers and pressing pedals.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation desired; must become forklift certified within our environment.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and safety practices.
- Consistently meet job attendance requirements.
The noise level is usually moderate. Bump caps, steel‑toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas. Hearing protection is encouraged and may be required in specific areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, vibration, and loud noises.
- Minimum 40‑hour workweek; overtime may be required.
- Stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear.
- Mount and dismount forklift and operate foot and hand pedals.
- Lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Required to move on concrete most of the shift and work with fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibrations.
- Adequate vision for close‑range inspection.

COMPENSATIONStarting wage: $21.00 per hour. A 3rd shift differential of $3.00 per hour is offered.
