Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and managing the movement of products in and out of the organization. This role involves supervising a team of shipping and receiving personnel, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating with internal departments and external partners, and maintaining a well‑organized and streamlined shipping and receiving process. Perform necessary tasks to ensure proper loading, unloading, and storage of materials and finished products.
Job LocationThis position will be located at our plant in Endicott, NY.
Job Responsibilities- Manage shipping and receiving staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, safety, and performance by implementing and upholding operational standards for shipment operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping yard, ensuring items are stored properly and in designated spots.
- Communicate housekeeping standards, provide on‑the‑job training, and define and clarify duties, responsibilities, accountability, and authority of all direct reports.
- Lead structured process improvement projects to increase stockroom efficiency and productivity.
- Organize and rotate stock placement in the yard.
- Oversee the accurate receiving and inspection of incoming shipments, ensuring compliance with purchase orders.
- Lead the team during yearly inventory to accurately count and report all pipe in stock.
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
- Experience in a manufacturing, shipping/loading, or warehouse environment.
- Strong communication skills at all employee levels.
- Ability to work in a team environment that supports employees, the organization, safety, and production efforts.
- Capacity to operate a sit‑down forklift.

- Base salary range of $80,000–$90,000 per year.
