SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Mold Setter for a plastics injection molding position in Elgin, IL. The Mold Setter will manage the entire molding process including equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, and inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 1st Shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

• Personal work effort must be done with safety to preventing mold or equipment damage.
• Obtain approval from supervisor for set-up and product produced.
• Follow set-up procedures, if there is a problem, notify management.
• Assist operator on start-up.
• Performs diagnosis and solves operation or problems.
• Identifies the need for mold or equipment maintenance.
• Perform PM molds per specified procedures.
• Stop any operation where there is an issue of safety or product quality.
• If delegated by the supervisor, train or assist team members when operation problems occur.
• Position, align, and secure assembled mold or mold components, and machine. accessories, onto machine using hoist, power tools and hand tools.
• Set-up and maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including granulators, conveyors, liquid temperature controls, and mold electrical controls.
• Must be able to report to work as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Understands productions and quality standards and has the judgment to determine the product meets standards.
• Must have the ability to train operators for safety and efficiency.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and/or direction.
• Ability to write simple communication. Education/
  
  Experience:
• 3-5 years’ experience in injection molding equipment set-up.
