Summary:
Our client in Elgin is seeking a Sorter/Dismantler to join their team. In this role, you will sort, dismantle, and prepare electronic materials for recycling by breaking down equipment, separating components, and loading materials into designated bins.
Responsibilities:- Sort incoming electronics based on type and recycling requirements.
- Load electronic materials into designated bins for processing.
- Break down and dismantle electronics using approved procedures.
- Remove required components and parts from electronics at the workstation.
- Assist with the overall recycling process and maintain a clean work area.
- Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle electronic materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable attendance and good organizational skills.
