  Monday-Thursday - 12 hour shifts 7:30 AM
  -7:30 PM or 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
• Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
• Must be able to train Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM for 1 month

Assistant Machine Operator

Job Description:

• Assist the Lead Operator and Shift Supervisor with operating extrusion equipment
• Support machine setup, startup, shutdown, and product changeovers
• Load raw materials, including resins, additives, and colorants, into hoppers and feeders
• Monitor extrusion lines and report equipment or production issues
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements to ensure product quality
• Remove, package, and label finished products according to specifications
• Clean and prepare tooling and equipment during changeovers
• Assist operators and maintenance with minor troubleshooting and machine adjustments
• Transport raw materials and finished products using pallet jacks or forklifts when certified
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow 5S and safety standards

Assistant Machine Operator

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ year of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working around heat, noise, and moving machinery
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing stairs or ladders, and working at various heights
• Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe footwear
