Principal Associate, Associate Creative Director – Brand

Responsibilities

• Partner with creative teams and internal clients to define intent and deliver marketing that makes Capital One easy to recognize, remember and choose.
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment that adjusts based on the needs of business partners and strategic imperatives.
• Lead a team of internal copywriters and art directors alongside external agency support—sometimes handling the work yourself.
• Mentor team members and identify new opportunities to support their development.
• Follow advertising and marketing trends to translate business intent into creative strategies and executions.

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 3 years of experience in copywriting and editing
• 3+ years of experience leading creative teams or creative projects
• 4+ years of experience editing long-form digital content for websites or blogs
• 1+ years of experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Understanding of art direction and UX/UI design principles
• Experience in the financial services industry or highly regulated industry
• Experience applying Enterprise and Associated Press Book (AP Stylebook)

• Bachelor’s degree
