Weekday Cardiac Device Nurse – Outpatient EP Team

Multiple Openings Across the Greater Chicago Area (New Lenox, Naperville & Elgin)

Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are actively hiring experienced Cardiac Device Nurses to join a highly respected outpatient cardiology team providing specialized care for patients with pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders, and complex cardiac conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity for nurses seeking a stable weekday schedule, strong physician collaboration, and a high level of autonomy in a specialized cardiac setting.

• Interrogate and program pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable cardiac devices
• Perform ECG rhythm interpretation and arrhythmia assessment
• Coordinate remote monitoring through Latitude, Carelink, Merlin, and Biotronik
• Provide patient education, wound assessments, and post‑operative care
• Collaborate closely with electrophysiology physicians and cardiac specialists
• Triage device‑related patient calls and support remote follow‑up care
• Maintain detailed clinical documentation and device records

• RN with ASN or BSN required
• Minimum 2–3 years of direct cardiac device or cardiovascular experience required
• Must have hands‑on experience interrogating cardiac devices
• Experience in outpatient cardiology, EP lab, hospital cardiology testing, or cardiac device industry strongly preferred
• Strong ECG and arrhythmia interpretation skills required

• EPIC experience
• ACLS Certification
