Position: Registered Nurse (2 East) - 7pm7:30am *$10,000 sign-on bonus!

Registered Nurse (2 East)

Hours:

7pm–7:30am, weekend and holiday rotation. Sign‑on bonus: $10,000.

Registered Nurses are responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care delivery. The provider offers clinical leadership to the patient care team for the assigned shift.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzes assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnosis, problems, and issues.
  • Assesses patients' conditions and care delivery through direct observation, rounding, and data input from other team members.
  • Collects pertinent data and information relative to the patient's health or the situation; recognizes normal and abnormal findings when gathering data.
  • Coordinates bed and patient care assignments during shift and in preparation for the next shift to ensure consistency in care delivery.
  • Documents and reports care delivered to the physicians and other team members as needed.
  • Enhances professional growth through classes related to communication, teaching, stress management, conflict resolution, and team building annually (in addition to required unit/patient‑specific education).
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes; reports data and outcomes to physicians and/or other disciplines as appropriate.
  • Implements care and supervises care delivered by other team members in alignment with the plan of care and approved safety and infection control standards.
  • Coordinates with Leader/Director to pursue required knowledge and skills through orientation activities, unit‑based in‑service programs, current literature, and other clinical learning opportunities.
  • Identifies expected outcomes for an individualized plan of care for the patient or situation.
  • Develops a plan prescribing strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes.
  • Plans and evaluates care in collaboration with appropriate disciplines for assigned patients.
  • Provides leadership and supervision to the healthcare team during the assigned shift.
  • Provides performance feedback to team members and inputs to Manager/Director regarding appraisals.
  • Establishes effective working relationships with peers, physicians, and other members of the health care team.
  • Serves as a strong, positive role model for other health care team members.
  • Employs teaching strategies to promote health in a safe environment.
Requirements
  • Admitted Nurse (ADN) or B.S.N. degree.
  • Active RN license in the State of Illinois.
  • ACLS certification within 90 days of hire and BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Compensation

Estimated Compensation Range: $37.23 – $57.71 per hour, paid based on experience.
