Registered Nurse-Oncology RN

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care in an oncology setting.

We are currently seeking an Oncology RN to work a 13‑week contract on night shift in Rock Island IL. Contracts can be extended.

• Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.

• Current and unrestricted RN nursing license in the state of practice.

• Two years of experience as an RN in an Oncology Unit in the last two years.

• Administer chemotherapy and other treatments to oncology patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records.

• Valid Illinois RN license. Must show proof of application for IA license before you are cleared to start.
• Current CPR.
• Previous experience in oncology nursing.
• Knowledge of critical care transport, tube feeding, PICU, gastric lavage, catheter care, senior care, ostomy care, sterile processing, phlebotomize, venipuncture is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with compassion and empathy.
