Certifications:
Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) – Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR);
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days – American Heart Association (AHA).
Education: College Diploma:
Nursing.
- Provides and facilitates competent health care of patients and families in area of practice.
- Ensures adherence to established standards of care and scope of practice.
- Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate.
- Provides health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
- Acts as preceptor and supports development of other staff and healthcare students.
- Provides leadership for initiatives designed to improve quality of care or clinical outcomes.
- Assists Nursing Supervisor/coordinator in the development of departmental standing orders.
- Assists with coordination of care for patients age 0–150.
- Performs telephone triage of both acute and chronic needs for patients age 0–150.
- Assists with in‑office wound care and other procedures such as lesion removal.
- Provides in‑office education for patients with newly diagnosed diabetes between ages 0–150.
- Administers immunizations and medications to patients age 0–150.
The compensation range for this position is $30.39 per hour to $52.27 per hour. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
