Staff Nurse - LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

Marklund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing residential, educational, and therapeutic services for individuals with profound disabilities.

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse – LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our team in Elgin. The role includes full‑time and part‑time shifts with competitive hourly rates ranging from $32.25 to $34.75 per hour, plus shift differentials for MCDD, PM, night, and weekend shifts. PRN/IHR LPN on‑call rates are $33 per hour with a weekend differential.

• Administer medications, tube feedings, and treatments as prescribed.
• Prepare quarterly and annual health assessments.
• Inform physicians of changes in resident health status and implement physician orders.
• Complete daily charting for care provided.
• Act as a liaison between residents, parents, physicians, consultants, and case managers regarding resident status.

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and current registration in Illinois Health Care Worker Registry.
• Current BLS CPR certification for Healthcare Workers.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and meet functional and environmental requirements.
