Position: Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Ortho Neuro
Advocate Health Care - 1425 North Randall Road - Responsibilities:
Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation;
Measure and document blood pressures, temperature, pulse, respiration, intake and output, daily weights and other patient data;
Document accurately in Electronic Medical Record;
Perform rounding and communicate observations and needs of patient/family to RN;
Participate in admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision of RN; assist with room setup and patient belongings;
Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated; maintain equipment and stock; assist with transfers using appropriate devices
