Overview
Responsible for the cleanliness, daily maintenance and rotation of the golf cart fleet and setup driving range balls on a daily basis.
Assist in instruction of Ladies/Junior Group Golf Lessons.
Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Experience Required- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow staff members and course patrons
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Previous golf course experience preferred
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid Illinois drivers license
- Perform preventative maintenance on driving range picker and utility vehicle;
- Coordinate scheduling of all outside service personnel;
- Coordinate daily bag drop duties;
- Responsible for training newly hired outside service personnel
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Golf Services Manager. Work requires ability to lift 50 pounds and 20 pounds frequently and a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects. Work requires reaching, grasping, and repetitive motions; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels;
visual acuity is required for maintaining accurate records, determining the thoroughness and accuracy of work and to observe general surroundings and activities. The worker is subject to working numerous hours while sitting and standing; position requires the use of a motorized vehicle.
