Quality Engineer Intern- MIX

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate labeling and organization of raw materials within warehouse bins and storage areas.
• Assist with quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, and non-investigations.
• Maintain and update standard work instructions (SWI) and work instructions (WI) to reflect current processes and best practices.
• Assist with the implementation of Vesuvius Performance Management (VPM) system.
• Provide support for the quality system, including transferring data from Lotus database into the local database.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Anyone pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field), preferably with second-year standing or higher, is a plus.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and lean methodologies is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a hands‑on, technical environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
